However, due to some health problems during my youth at home in Germany, it seemed almost impossible to me that this wish can be fulfilled. „Zur Zeit befinde ich mich mitten im Sondieren verschiedener Optionen, um herauszufinden wo ich ab August 2024 in den USA studieren kann. Als Top 10 in der Altersgruppe der 17-jährigen in der Deutschen Tennis-Jugendrangliste verspreche ich mir am liebsten ein Vollstipendium in einer akademisch angesehen Universität mit einem soliden Tennis-Programm. Im Zuge dieses Prozesses verlasse ich mich ganz alleine auf die Zusammenarbeit mit College-Scout-PLUS und ihrem exzellenten Berater-Team. Durch die von College-Scout-PLUS für mich organisierten Besuche an verschiedenen Ivy Leage Schools konnte ich mir vorab meiner eigentlichen Entscheidung einen sehr persönlichen Eindruck vom Campus-Leben und den Trainingsmöglichkeiten vor Ort verschaffen. Ich konnte das Tennis-Team und der Coach konnte mich näher kennenlernen und wir haben uns offen über unsere gegenseitigen Erwartungen & Vorstellungen ausgetauscht. Even though I reached a good ranking position among the top 500 on the ATP tour as a 19-year-old, Marcus still convinced me to accept a sports scholarship in the USA.
Finally I started to study at the sporty famous University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa until 2019 and became an ALL-STAR PLAYER there."
